Jim Mora's Indianapolis Colts get a Broncos team that will have many of its wounded back in game shape and we certainly
know that head coach Mike Shanahan will want his side to end this difficult season on a positive note.

Speaking of positive notes, the player to watch in today's contest will be Broncos WR Rod Smith, who is currently tied for the league-lead with 106 catches, and could be the first Bronco to league the league since Lionel Taylor caught 85 passes in 1965.

Entering today's matchup the Broncos lead the all time series, 9-2.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Colts had all kinds of problems on defense this season as they surrendered 483 total yards and
27 first downs. Indianapolis ranks 30th in the league in defense.

Perhaps the only bright spot this season for the Colts is the performance of WR Dominic Rhodes who will be embarking to
make NFL history today. The fesity, 208-pounder out of Midwestern State needs only 37 yards to become the first undrafted rookie in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.

As far as this game game is concerned, taking points from this hapless Colts group is like your sister spotting you three letters in a game of H-O-R-S-E.

Besides the Indianapolis Colts have lost and failed to cover in seven of its past eight games.

Our Recommendation: Take Denver plus 2½.
