Chicago @ Minnesota
Pick: Minnesota -120
Time: 8:05 ET

Today the National Sports Advisors are picking the Minnesota Twins to defeat the Chicago White Sox in Minnesota.

Kyle Lohse (10-5, 4.55 ERA) gets the starting assignment for the Twins tonight. Lohse has won four straight decisions. The 22-year-old right-hander is 3-0 with a 1.00 ERA over his last four starts. He allowed eight hits and one run - a home run - over a season-high eight innings, striking out four and walking four in an 8-1 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Mark Buehrle (13-7, 3.86 ERA) will get the start tonight for the White Sox. Buehrle received some help from his teammates again on Tuesday. He allowed six runs and a season-high 10 hits, but earned the win in an 8-7 victory over the Twins. The 22-year-old southpaw also won a previous awful showing against the Twins this season, giving up six runs and eight hits over six innings of a 15-7 victory on June 25. He's 4-1 with a 5.72 ERA in eight career appearances - including six starts - against the Twins. Buehrle is 2-1 with a 4.88 ERA in four July starts.

So why the TWINS? Well, we love the way the Twins have been playing of late, plus we like going with Lohse. The Twins are riding a four game winning streak and have won ten out of eleven. The Twins are 35-18 at home and they are 15-6 overall(8-2 last 10) in Lohse's twenty-one starts. Buehrle enters tonight's game with 13 wins, but he has allowed 12 earned runs on 18 hits in just 11.2 innings against Minnesota this season. The White Sox also are a very poor road team, owning a 20-33 road record. We look for the Twins to remain hot against a pitcher they have owned this season, while the White Sox continue to struggle against Lohse. We like Minnesota.

Recommended Play: Minnesota -120
