"The Animal" has said it for years. The best time to play "The Animal" is off a bad day. Think about it. Premium clients on the plus side 19/24 days. A handicapper will never be hungrier or more determined to produce winners than after a bad day. Historically, some of "The Animal's" most lucrative days are coming off subpar performances. Sunday's five best bets now include three games 4*'s or higher plus NBA game #1 in the Eastern Conference and all for $20. Now Sunday's complimentary selecton. 49 degrees in Motown today with a total of 9 1/2-runs. Scared by Mother Nature. Not "The Animal". Doug Davis has looked more like Dale Davis on the hill for the Rangers recently with a 8:14 strikeout-to-walk ratio in his last four starts. Last year at Detroit, Davis allowed 10 hits in 6 1/3rd innings. While Tigers probable Greisinger did hand Anaheim one of only two defeats in a 19-game span, he also gave up eight runs in 8 1/3rd innings against Texas and Kansas City sandwiched around that Angels effort. Let's face it. Neither of these guys are going to be around very long and you have perhaps the two worst bullpens in baseball squaring off. The Tigers are 9-1 'OVER' the total this year when facing bullpens with a team ERA of 4.50 or higher. Texas is 25-10 'OVER' the total the last three years when facing teams with an on-base percentage of .350 or worse. The Tigers are also 8-1 'OVER' the total at home this year when meetings teams with a losing record. Detroit is 11-2 'OVER' the total this year when the posted total is either 9 or 9 1/2. You get the idea. Premium players on the plus side 19/24 days. Game #1 Celtics/Nets plus four baseball best bets (three 4*-rated beauties) on the Sunday card for $20 at www.animalssportspicks.com.
