Shaq remains in a league of one, his own.And Kobe's basically doing his thing, though the Laker's supporting cast has been a bit shaky.

New Jersey played well in game one, and was going well sticking within (around) seven of L.A. for most of game two, while the late damn break led to the rout.

Despite the big win, all the Lakers did was hold serve by winning at home. On paper that is. At this point New Jersey has, for all intents and purposes, no chance to win this series. No knock against them, they're simply taking on the best basketball team on the planet.

But the Nets remain a good team. I came into this series liking how hard they play, and look for that heart to show up in front of the home faithful Sunday,and at least break into the series win column. The Nets need it bigtime or they'll be on a collision course with the brooms....King Frank
